You don’t swing for the fences when you fight with a bat. You carry the bat pointed down so it matches your leg. When you come close to your opponent, you bring the bat up, grip it in both hands, and swing it low at his knee.

You don’t just lash your machete like an idiot. Maintain a razor edge on it. Make it an extension of your hand. Use it to feel the trail as you cut. Most important, always move slow. Take your time.

If you’re going to kill somebody connected to a guy like Lansky, you’ve got to ask permission.

If you need to kill a bunch of people in one room, you divide the room in half. You face the person you’re shooting to make sure none of your guys are behind him. Always move forward. You shoot and move. You can roll toward the people you want to kill, but you got to be careful you don’t lose your orientation.

If a guy is a few feet from you with a gun, your best chance is to run toward him.

When you beat somebody with a gun, always lock your finger under the trigger or under the hammer. Once you secure the trigger, always beat down with the butt of the gun on the other person’s skull or teeth or whatever you’re trying to break.

If you want your dog trained good, you need to be trained with him.

If you need to get rid of a body, drive it out on the water in your boat, smash the teeth out with a hammer, and sprinkle these in the water. Then take a sharp knife –like a fillet knife for fish– and cut the body from asshole up to the solar plexus.

When you kneecap somebody, you want to press your gun to the side of the knee and feel for a bone that sticks out.

When you meet people connected to the government, you should only talk to one guy.
